One of the big banner of odia film industry Sarthak Films’s 17th odia movie Chup Chup Chori Chori’s shooting has been packed up. The movie will hit the theatre on the colourful day HOLI. After success of Kehi Nuhen Kahara Chocolate Hero Abhishek has signed in this movie as lead chracter. followed by Riya Dey, Bijay Mohanty, Aparajita Mohanty, Priyanka Pattnaik, Preetiraj and Pragyan. Here you can see the beautiful onscreen romance between Abhishek and Riya. Star Director Sudhanshu Sahu is the director of the movie where as Manmath mishra has composed the music. Dialouges and songs are written by Srikant Goutam. Pradyumna Lenka working as Executive Producer.

HERO OF THIS MOVIE ABHISEK RATH SAYS- “People think I am confident, natural. I hope I portray that on-screen,” he said. Before making his first stage appearance for his debut film ‘ACP Sagarika’, Abhishek was nervous. Recently he turns 24 on 13th March 2016. Odia Movie Kehi Nuhen Kahara released in Mumbai.

Kehi Nuhen Kahara, a romantic thriller by Susant Mani, is going to be released in Mumbai today. The film which had a theatrical release in Odisha back in October had been well appreciated by the High-brow audience for an original storyline, script and a different genre as compared to the prevalent copy paste of South Indian and other regional flicks to odia.

National Award winning producer Akshay Parija is leaving no stones unturned to make Odia regional films a global phenomenon. With National and regional award winning art films like Jianta Bhuta and Thukul, Parija stepped into the film scenario. With a promise to be a change maker in the Ollywood industry, Parija made his first commercial film debut with Kehi Nuhen Kahara. Young talents Elina Samantray and Abhishek Rath are in the lead roles in the movie which also boasts of screen stealing acts from heavyweights like Siddhant Mahapatra, Bijay Mohanty, Kuna Tripathy, Samaresh Routray, Pinky Pradhan and Choudhury Jayaprakash.

The capital city saw the exclusive launch of the upcoming film “Buxi Jagabandhu- the Forgotten Legend” at Hotel Crown here on Monday, 11th Jan, 2016. Produced by well-known NRI businessman Akshay Parija, this is the first ever periodic film attempted in Odisha till date.

The film boasts of Ollywood superstar Anubhav Mohanty in and as Buxi Jagabandhu. Known to be Ollywood’s box office smasher in genres like romantic comedy, drama and action, this film will be offbeat for Anubhav. Parija, known to be a trend setter in Ollywood with award winning films like Jianta Bhuta, Thukul and Kehi Nuhen Kahara under his belt, is back again with a genre unexplored yet in the Industry. Not divulging much on the plot of the movie, Akshay Parija said, “The research on the Paika Vidroh is still under process. This was the first resitstance against the British that brought victory and was institutional in driving out the enemies in Khurdha so much so that they feared encroaching upon the territory. Buxi Jagabandhu played a pivotal role in Odisha’s rise against the Britishers , yet there is hardly any mention of him in the national and world history. This film is a humble tribute to rediscover and unearth Odisha’s forgotten legends who laid their life in the service of their motherland.” “After 12 years of successful film career, I will be reinventing myself in a completely different character and personality. Ollywood Actor Sabyasachi Mishra was injured during the shooting of his Upcoming movie Hela Mate Prema Jara at Jagathpur. He was injured during the shooting of the fight scene of the film and was admitted to a private Hospital on Friday.

Further shooting of the movie was cancelled during the day, Sabyasachi has been strictly instructed by the doctor to take bed rest for the next coming week. He has been hurt badly at his neck when a kick by his opponent in the fight scene landed straight on his neck.

According to sources Ollywood actress Barsha Priyadarshini is all set to turn producer with “Chandrabhaga” Odia film with husband Anubhav Mohanty.The film Chandrabhaga, will be an adaptation of ‘Shilapadma’ novel by popular writer Pratibha Ray.The film will portray the life of Kamal Moharana – an eminent sculptor among the 1200 artists who carved out the Konark temple.Ollywood superstar Anubhav and Barsha will be playing the lead characters in the movie.Th film also stars actor Akash Das Nayak, Sritam Das and Salil Mitra will also be seen in major roles.The film will be the first of its kind in Ollywood and perhaps the first period film .“It will be a commercial movie and will depict our culture and heritage in the best possible way. The Story of Krantidhara or Coup de Grace is a one hour 45 minute feature film narrating the story of Pratigyan played by Gargi Mohanty, who struggles with her political career and has to face the male chauvinist society gallantly. The movie which has been directed by Himanshu Khatua and cinematographed by Susanta Bahinipati was shortlisted for the 12th Chennai International Film festival (CIFF) recently. She is the proverbial daughter-in-law that anyone could aspire for. In a family of half a dozen individuals, the entire home-front is taken care of by her with diligence and compassion. Apart from the elderly parents-in-law and two primary school-going children; a boy and a girl, Pratignya, in her early thirties has the onerous task to reform her unscrupulous husband, Abhay, the local Sarpanch. A typical male chauvinist, he is inclined to heckle, hector and even manhandle his wife. Pratignya tends to take everything in her stride. All of a sudden, the position of Abhay becomes untenable subsequent to the government gazette notification reserving the position of the said Sarpanch in favour of women.
